A massive drop calorimeter with an isothermal shell was used to measure the enthalpy increment of the intermetallic compound RbBi2 in solid and liquid states in the temperature range of 432–1176 K. Approximating equations are obtained, and the isobaric heat capacity and enthalpy change on melting are determined. The estimated errors of the data on enthalpy and heat capacity were 0.4% and 1.0%, respectively. The enthalpy of alloy formation in the liquid state is determined. The obtained data are compared with the results of the calculations according to the law of ideal solutions.
