Abstract—Polycrystalline praseodymium orthoniobate, PrNbO4, has been studied by high-temperature X‑ray diffraction and differential scanning calorimetry. We have determined the temperature of the fergusonite–scheelite structural phase transition and shown it to be a second-order transition.
