Considering two classes of Holder mappings of Carnot-Caratheodory spaces, graph mappings and smooth mappings in the Riemannian sense, we obtain an area formula for image surfaces. In particular, we describe the structure of the polynomial sub-Riemannian differential for graph mappings.
