Abstract The necessity of determining the current operating frequency in radar system transmission modules is discussed. A frequency detector has been developed and simulated and its main elements designed—a power divider and microstrip filters. The main criteria that filters must meet are identified. Based on the simulation results, a prototype model of the frequency detector was developed and studied in practice.
