A semiphenomenological model of the effective Hamiltonian of quantum chromodynamics on the light front in a (3+1)-dimensional space-time is proposed, and the spectral equation for the mass squared of quarkÄantiquark states is considered. Proposed Hamiltonian includes a term dependent on the zero mode of the gluon ˇeld, which is introduced as an independent dynamic variable. The inclusion of this term allows one to obtain quark and antiquark conˇnement in transverse directions in the coordinates of the light front. It also proposes the delocalization of the four-fermion interaction member, which allows one to get conˇnement in the longitudinal direction.
