Experiments with a big uranium target irradiated by a high-energy proton beam will be carried out at JINR (Dubna, Russia). In this paper, a number of neutronics of this accelerator-driven subcritical system are simulated towards optimizing the experimental conditions. The Geant4-based simulations are performed in the International Sakharov Environmental Institute of Belarusian State University.
