A 10-month-old girl presented with a soft swelling over the head vertex noted at the age of 2 months (figure 1). Physical examination showed a well-defined mass of 2.5 cm × 1.5 cm covered by undamaged skin. The lesion was neither pulsating nor painful. Ultrasonography showed a subcutaneous hypoechogenic cystic lesion without vascularisation.
