Some of the world’s largest funders of medical research have agreed that the results of all the trials they fund or support will be made publicly available. In a joint statement, 10 international research bodies, including the UK Medical Research Council, the Wellcome Trust, the Indian Council of Medical Research and the Institut Pasteur, agreed that all trials they fund, co-fund, sponsor, or support will be registered in a publicly available registry.
