The entire editorial board of the International Journal of Occupational and Environmental Health ( Int J Occup Environ Health ) have resigned following an acrimonious battle with the journal’s publisher Taylor & Francis. The board said it was resigning in protest at the appointment of a new editor with links to industry without consulting the board and what it described as the “unilateral” withdrawal of approved articles. The mass resignation was announced in a letter1 dated 22 November sent to Ian Bannerman, managing director at Taylor & Francis journals, from board member Arthur Frank.
