The use of new digital technology at the workplace and job redesign have influence the quality of working life and alter the factors that promote work-related well-being and/or induce work related stress. Technological advances have brought about extensive changes in work over the last few decades. Many organizations have changed from specialized, monotonous work to non-routine, complex and digitized work outputs. More so, job descriptions have increased in scope, technological development and job redesign continue to change work in many industries. These emerging occupational risks pose threat to workers’ occupational safety and health (OSH) at work. This paper discusses the occupational hazards, associated risks and potential impacts emanating from changes at work place and human development due to work digitization. Hence, identify key trends, drivers and pattern of these emerging risks with proactive and sustainable control measures for world of work thereby emphasizing the need of acting now in order to ensure tomorrow workplace is safe and healthy. It reveals how to systematically manage the merging risks in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) at work thereby developing risk preventive culture at workplace. This work reviewed information gathered from books of distinguished authors, research works, newspapers and professional journals on in Occupational Safety and Health.
