A 58-year-old woman presented for preoperative angiographic evaluation of a right occipital lobe tentorial meningioma adjacent to the transverse sinus previously visualised on sagittal contrast-enhanced MRI of the brain (figure 1A, arrow). The patient had age-related presbycusis but no other medical history beyond mild headaches as a teenager. Physical examination was unremarkable. During image acquisition, the patient was unable to hear instructions and proceeded to swallow during the few seconds of biplane image acquisition resulting in an unusual labial-appearing movement artifact. …
