iant cell myocarditis (GCM)—a rapidly progressive form of myocarditis—is a rare and potentially fatal diagnosis if not treated immediately. Endomyocardial biopsy is the gold standard for diagnosis. Treatment of GCM involves immunosuppression along with symp-tomatic management of heart failure, arrhythmias, and the other cardiac sequelae of GCM. 1 We describe a case of GCM in a patient without cardiac history or significant comorbid conditions who presented with severe heart failure a few weeks after the BNT162b2 mRNA COVID-19 vaccine (Pfizer-BioNTech).
