We present a catalogue of Indian Lecithoceridae with an account of 180 species in 38 genera and two subfamilies, Lecithocerinae (111 species in 21 genera, 61.67%) and Torodorinae (69 species in 17 genera, 38.33%). The analysis of biogeographic zone wise and state wise distribution reveals the maximum percentage of Lecithoceridae species in Western Ghats (28.63%) and the least diversity is recorded from Deserts and Gangetic Plains (0.8%) whereas, the North eastern state, Meghalaya dominates with 45 species (25%) and Andhra Pradesh is the least diverse state. For each species, type-locality, geographical distribution (within and outside India) and synonyms are provided in this manuscript.
