The goal of the present study is the epistemological and praxeological analysis of the complex concept of “war crimes.” This article seeks to penetrate the nature of the category in light of the current growing tension due to the large-scale impact of global threats. This situation has inescapable practical value in the context of the individual, in particular to ensure security in business, economy, professional development, and personal life. The identification and structuring of the components and parameters of the concept of “war crimes” allow the author to present to the scientific community a new, functional definition of “war crimes,” which is a step toward greater objectivity in subsequent assessments and understanding of the scale of modern geopolitical processes and their consequences in our lives and activities.
