Most children with SARS-CoV-2 infection are asymptomatic or exhibit only mild symptoms.1 Few comprehensive reports have been published on the clinical presentation of pediatric patients infected with SARSCoV-2,2-7 and only one from the United States to date.2 Infectious diseases can affect children and adolescents differently from adults. With this report, we are describing an adolescent who presented to a large tertiary care pediatric hospital with anaphylaxis and rhabdomyolysis found to be infected with SARS-CoV-2. Understanding the scope of disease presentation in children will be paramount for pediatricians but may also yield insight into disease pathogenesis.
