Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) is a painful and disabling disorder that usually affects a single limb and is characterized by sensory, motor, autonomic, and trophic changes.1 The underlying pathophysiology of CRPS seems to be complex and probably varies between patients. The treatment options for CRPS are multiple and include physical therapies, medication, and surgery. Here, we present a unique patient with CRPS type I affecting the lower limb and detail the use of myofascial trigger point dry needling (MTrP-DN), which has been far less extensively documented in the literature.
