SAGE Publishing and the Journal of Family Nursing (JFN) are pleased to be involved in the third year of an important partnership with the Japanese Association for Research in Family Nursing and the Japanese Journal of Research in Family Nursing (JJRFN). This partnership involves the exchange of 10 translated abstracts per year. Five selected abstracts from JFN were translated into Japanese and published in JJRFN in 2017 (see list below); five selected abstracts from JJRFN were translated into English and are published in JFN in this issue. This collaboration between both journals provides an exciting opportunity to share family nursing knowledge and also promote and advance family nursing science between languages and countries.
