The Journal of Orthodontics is pleased to provide the readership with the opportunity to obtain Enhanced Continuing Professional Development (CPD). Each issue of the journal will contain articles identified as CPD and selected reviews reflecting the GDC recommended topics. After you have read the article, linked questions for this issue will appear in print (below) and online. You will be able to answer the questions online, and should your answers be correct, you will then be able to print a certificate for up to 4 hours of CPD, which you can use as evidence towards your Enhanced CPD requirements. I hope that you find this service useful and I would welcome any feedback you might have about any aspects of the process, which is as follows: All BOS members will receive email notification of their login details for the BOS Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). Users log in to the VLE and click on the BOS Continuing Professional Development section. Once in this section, there is a subsection called Journal of Orthodontics Articles for CPD. Within this subsection is a link to the articles, an MCQ test and a link for the CPD certificate. Clicking on the link to the articles takes the user to the Highwire platform and provides access to the online version of the articles. Once the user has read the articles it is necessary to return to the BOS VLE to complete the MCQ test by clicking on the MCQ link. The MCQ test must be completed and passed before clicking on the CPD certificate link to generate the certificate. It is possible to have two attempts at the MCQ test. Once the certificate has been generated it can be printed or saved. The website address is as follows: www. bosvle.org.uk
