The European Association of Preventive Cardiology (EAPC) Young Community (YC) is a new group created to strengthen the position and promote the participation of young professionals in the field of preventive cardiology. The several developed initiatives are now summarised in a call for action here signed by the EAPC leaders. This is in keeping with the invitation for the YC to contribute more actively to our journal, by proposing research, opinions, comments and debates. The doors of the EAPC community and the journal are wide open and all ideas from around the world are welcome.
