The second primary malignancies following radiation therapy have been established in the literature. Urethral cancers of primary origin account for less than 1% of malignancies in men. Not only is enteric-type urethral adenocarcinoma extremely rare, but we also have a poor understanding of its biologic behaviour. It is reported that immunohistochemistry is one of the mainstays in confirming the diagnosis of this condition. Herein we report a rare case of primary enteric-type adenocarcinoma in a male patient with a history of brachytherapy for Gleason 6 adenocarcinoma of the prostate 13 years ago.
