Introduction: Modern tests of latent tuberculosis infection detecting (IGRA) one of which is the skin test with tuberculous recombinant allergen - Diaskintest (DST) were equipped by TB specialists. Positive results of DST skin test give the grounds to claim active TB process. Aim: Study DST at the successfully cured patients with lung TB and evaluation of clinical, epidemic and social factors on latent TB activity detected by DST. Methods: 95 patients with fist detected TB were divided into two groups: the I - 32 patients directly after effective course of treatment (ECT), a median of 3.8 months (95% CI, 3.3-4.3) and the II - 63 patients with ECT finishing more than 6 months, a median of 14 months (95% CI, 11.6-16.4). Results: Most of the patients have negative results of DST – 65.6% (21/32) and 76.2% (48/63) accordingly in I and II groups (p=0.008). At I group 11/34.4% patients had positive DST, the median of papule size 10 mm, 95% CI 6.5-13.3, at II group – 15/32.8% (p=0.02), median of papule size 13 mm, 95% CI 8.4-19.7. In I group positive DST most often was registered at patients with initial infiltrative lungs tuberculosis (81.0% vs. 47.6% among DST-negative cases, p Conclusion: Diaskintest can be used as important index for objective estimation of latent TB after effective course of treatment.
