Curative resection is considered the most definitive strategy for resectable colorectal liver metastases (CRLMs), and such resection is often performed as an initial treatment or after first-line chemotherapy. 1 Oxaliplatin-based regimens are often administered as first-line treatment to achieve R0 resection for CRLMs. Although the clinical decision for curative or palliative treatment depends on the response to chemotherapy, there are limited biomarkers that can predict chemosensitivity in patients treated for metastatic colorectal cancer (CRC). Radiomicsbased approaches have been reported to improve diagnostic or predictive accuracy in multiple cancer types, which enables pretreatment predictions of treatment outcomes. 2 , 3 We developed and validated a pretreatment radiomicsbased prediction model for the response of CRLMs to firstline oxaliplatin-based chemotherapy. 4
