Wireless sensor applications have been pushed to the forefront in recent years mostly owing to the advent of the internet of networks. Using genetic algorithms and ant colony optimisation algorithms, many achievements have been made on engineering design problems, but the results optimised by these methods are often not satisfied by wireless sensor applications. In this paper, GAAC, a hybrid routing algorithm, is designed aiming to the defects of simple genetic algorithm and ant colony algorithm. With improvement, simulation results show that GAAC has made great effects in convergence precision.
