Multifunctional capsules based on Pickering emulsion and nanocomposite polyelectrolyte layers proved to be obtained and characterised. Direct emulsions were stabilised by mixture of nanodiamonds and SiO2 nanoparticles. The influence of the nanoparticle mass ratio on emulsion stability, size and dispersity of droplets at different pH values was studied. Optimal conditions for Pickering emulsion formation were found. Up to nine polyelectrolyte layers were deposited onto emulsion droplets by layer-by-layer method. Capsules were sensitive to external magnetic field. This was achieved by adsorption of magnetite particles onto the capsule surface between polyelectrolyte layers.
