History: 14-year-old right hand-dominant male baseball athlete presents with two days of right elbow pain and swelling. He is a right-handed pitcher and notes a sudden onset of pain and swelling in his right elbow after 73 in-game pitches. He was unable to continue play secondary to immediate swelling and pain. He denies any elbow trauma, fevers, night sweats, or swelling in other joints. Incidentally, the patient had similar elbow pain at age 10 when he had MRI-diagnosed Panner’s Disease of the right elbow. He underwent activity modification, rest, and physical therapy before …
