With a strong body of evidence linking active smoking to tuberculosis (TB), the research team seeks to further investigate the potential link between exposure to secondhand smoke (SHS) and development of pediatric TB. The current baseline study falls under the research “Effect of a Smoking Cessation Intervention Program for Families on the Clinical Outcome of Children Diagnosed with TB”.
