Introduction: Cardiac rhabdomyomas can be prenatally diagnosed in patients with tuberous sclerosis complex. Many neonates require no intervention in early life other than close monitoring for regression of tumor over the period of months to years. In rare instances, cardiac rhabdomyomas can result in obstruction to blood flow or decreased ventricular function. Case Report: A newborn female who had been prenatally diagnosed with tuberous sclerosis complex was delivered at 38 and 2/7 weeks gestational age. The baby initially had saturations in the high 90s on room air. A post-natal echocardiogram demonstrated a patent ductus arteriosus, an atrial septal defect with bidirectional shunting, and multiple well-circumscribed masses consistent with rhabdomyomas predominantly affecting the right atrium …
