Qualitative study with participatory approach whose objectives were to develop educational technology (ET) with elderly caregivers from the needs , problems and interests expressed by them; describe the fundamental content considered expressed by caregivers for the care of elderly , analyze the needs , problems and interests with caregivers of seniors and produce a TE with the caregivers of elderly with a view to its improvement. Participants were caregivers course offered by FURNAS / TEAR and caregivers participating university program titled EASIC / UFF. The Data collection was based on the guidelines of the " World Cafe " where Europe through this , the data were analyzed, categorized and later , the TE was developed together with the participants. The analysis type of Thematic Content Bardin (2011 ) and also used the concepts of Freire (2014) dialogical relationship and problem-based education as well as authors of gerontology. Emerged three thematic classes, four categories and 10 subcategories. The first thematic class relates to the needs of caregivers; the second class theme highlights the difficulties pointed out by caregivers, and the third class evaluates the interests of carers to proceed caring for the elderly. From the discussions of the thematic classes, categories and subcategories were developed two educational technologies namely media and manual collection type which included all the needs, interests and difficulties reported by caregivers to undertake the care of the elderly. It is emphasized that the ETs produced were presented to the caregivers and they expressed their opinions regarding the clarity of objectives, appearance and content proceeding to all relevant amendments forwarded by caregivers. It is concluded that there is need for health education in practice with caregivers of seniors. Therefore, educational technology is recommended as a facilitating tool in providing care to the elderly and it is considered that it can be used both for carers and by health professionals as a tool in the care of the elderly. It emphasizes the need for new studies using educational technology facing caregivers of the elderly and their validation for use of it
