The results of studies of the practice of use in the construction of residential facilities located next to power lines, mesh metal materials, which have the shielding ability On the example of mesh metal materials (iron, aluminum, copper) used as a shielding material together with the roof of a building and in external walls, indicators reflecting the effectiveness of electromagnetic shielding are obtained.
