ABSTRACT Zhang, L; Dong, B., and Zhou, H., 2019. Evaluating the efficiency of emergency material allocation in marine transit network. In: Gong, D.; Zhu, H., and Liu, R. (eds.), Selected Topics in Coastal Research: Engineering, Industry, Economy, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 94, pp. 432–436. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208. The allocation of emergency material is an important support and guarantee for the emergency management of Marine transit. When accident happens in the marine transit system operated through network, the spread effect is more obviously, which requires quick and effective response. Therefore, the scientific and reasonable allocation of emergency material is crucial. Based on the analysis of the current allocation of emergency material, this paper determines the evaluation index of allocating emergency material, establishes an evaluation model by using the DEA method, and applies it in the practical case with good results.
