ABSTRACT Zhou, J.; Tian, Q.; Zhang, X., and Sheng, M., 2019. Durability test of lining concrete for immersed subsea tunnel. In: Hoang, A.T. and Aqeel Ashraf, M. (eds.), Research, Monitoring, and Engineering of Coastal, Port, and Marine Systems. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 97, pp. 82–87. The service time of concrete structures can be greatly shortened due to chloride corrosion and concrete carbonation. At present, durability of concrete structures has become a common concern in the world. In order to avoid waste of manpower and material resources, the life expectancy of concrete structures in marine environment is required. In this paper, firstly, the concentration of concrete diffused in the diffusion substance is calculated. Then the seepage and capillary action of the lining concrete structure of the immersed subsea tunnel are analyzed. Finally, the durability of the lining concrete of the immersed subsea tunnel is researched by analyzing the calculation results. Experimental results show that the durability of the lining concrete of immersed subsea tunnel can be researched, and the factors affecting the durability of the lining concrete are analyzed.
