Aim: To demonstrate the prognostic importance of glucose-to-lymphocyte ratio (GLR) and uric acid (UA) in patients with metastatic breast cancer (MBC) receiving Cdk 4/6 inhibitors. Materials & methods: Neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio, platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio, GLR, UA and CA15-3 were analyzed to assess their prognostic value using Kaplan-Meier curves and Cox regression analysis in 101 patients with MBC, retrospectively. Results: Importantly, both progression-free survival and overall survival were shorter in the group with high neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR), GLR and UA. In the multivariate analysis, GLR and UA levels were independent prognostic factors for both progression-free survivalĀ and overall survival. Conclusion: In patients with MBC, GLR and UA are independent factors that predict survival times.
