the pest (Leptocorisa acuta Thumberg), is one of the pests that many people complain about, especially farmers. These pests can cause damage to plants when they are young, so the results obtained are not optimal. Based on these problems it is necessary to use insecticides so that these pests can be controlled. Derris root (Derris elliptica Roxb. Benth) is one of the most widely grown plants in the Indonesian region. The roots of this plant have a chemical compound in the form of rotenone which has the potential as a bioinsecticide to eradicate stinking pests. This type of research used experimental research using randomized complete design with three controls and 6 replications. First treatment dose is 8%, second treatment 10%, third treatment 12%, and control 0%. Based on the Kruskall Wallis test, the results were x2,10,88> x2 table 9,49 at 5 0,05 in the Chisquare table, so that there was an effect of variations in derris root bioinsectisa dosage (Derris elliptica Roxb. Benth) on mortality phantsahm wit sangit (leptocorisa acuta Thumberg). Based on the average rank of treatment for first rank that is at dose 12% got result 6,7, second rank 8,46, third rank 8,76 and control get highest result that is 18, so it can be concluded that tuba root extract (Derris elliptica Roxb. Benth) most effective against phantsahm mortality of sago (leptocorisa acuta thumberg) mortality is at a dose of 12%. The results of this study can be used as a source of biology learning in the form of Student Practicum Worksheet Biology high school class X odd semester on the material Scientific and Occupational Methods that the results are very feasible.
