The article considers the current problems of modern science and management practice as a consequence of the exacerbation of the economic crisis COVID-19. The relevance and inevitability of introducing management into the practice of uncertainty and permanently occurring crises in the world of a fundamentally new management methodology, chaos management, is substantiated. The methodological features of the application of tools and methods of chaos management in overcoming the business crisis COVID-19 are disclosed based on the development and implementation of nonstandard behavioral strategies of the business in real time
