The coronavirus pandemic has had a negative influence on many areas of functioning of society, including the economy. Under these circumstances, many businesses have lost most of their potential income. The tourism industry has proven to be one of the worst hit sectors of the economy. This article examines the main differences in financial management at the enterprises of the hotel industry, analyzes the current situation of enterprises in the hospitality industry. The main problems and prospects of the sector development due to competent financial management are presented. Based on the results of the current situation study in the domestic market of tourist services, a number of proposals are made to solve the problems identified within the framework of the work.
