Abstract —The tribotechnical properties of composite materials developed by powder metallurgy methods are studied. Friction tests was carried out in a dry environment on a vertical MMW-1 tribometer by the pin-on-disk mechanism. An Amscope optical microscope was used to analyze the wear surfaces. The experimental results showed that the use of Cu–C (copper–graphite) ~ 10 wt % improves the frictional properties of the composites.
