Laccase has been immobilized on magnetic nanocellulose (MCNCs) and used for degradation of aniline from simulated wastewater. The MCNCs were prepared by self-assembly approach of magnetic nanoparticles covered by polyethyleneimine (Fe3O4@PEI) and CNCs by commercial microcrystalline cellulose. The laccase has been successfully immobilized on MCNCs by physical interaction, showing excellent performance. About 98 % of aniline were degraded after 6 h, with reusability for at least 5 cycles.
