Simple Summary Sexual dysfunction, which can result from hormonal imbalances, stress, and chronic health issues, affects a significant portion of the population. This study examines how probiotics, beneficial bacteria that support gut health, can improve sexual and reproductive health. The findings show that probiotics significantly improved sexual function in women, particularly those on antidepressants, and increased pregnancy rates in women undergoing fertility treatments. In men, probiotics improved sperm health, including motility and viability. Additionally, probiotics help reduce menopause symptoms and support hormonal balance. This review highlights the potential of probiotics as an effective treatment for sexual dysfunction and reproductive health, offering promising results that could benefit many individuals. However, further research is needed to fully understand the mechanisms behind these effects.
