In this paper, a single-layer ultrawideband polarization conversion metasurface with high-efficiency is proposed. The top metallic structure is formed by folding the L-shaped structure in meanders, which can produce additional resonances and reduce the resonant frequency. Therefore, ultrawideband polarization conversion is realized (ranging from 7.79 to 30.22 GHz, covering C-, X-, Ku-, K-, and Ka-bands) with high polarization conversion ratio (>0.9), and the relative bandwidth is up to 118.02%. Numerical simulations are well supported by experimental measurements. The designed ultrawideband metasurface may have potentials in imaging systems and microwave communications.
