The present study had the objective of presenting and analyzing through a systematic review the academic productions of Dissertations and Theses on the construction of the teaching identity. In the searches performed, 312 studies were found. After reading the titles were 27 studies. After the abstracts were analyzed, the quantity decreased to 14 and after the works read in full we arrived at the total of 10 texts, being 9 Master Dissertations and only a Doctoral Thesis. The ten academic productions chosen were defended in eight Universities, seven public and one considered private philanthropic. Regarding the distribution by region of the country, we have five produced in the Southeast region (three in the state of Minas Gerais and two in Sao Paulo), three in the Northeast region (Alagoas, Piaui and Rio Grande do Norte), one in the South) and one in the Northern region (Para).
