Georgia's geopolitical situation has been analyzed in the article. According to its favorable geopolitical location, Georgia has the opportunity to play a key role in the mentioned transit corridor, to deeply integrate its own transport and logistics system into international logistics systems, and thereby to contribute to the overall economic development of the country. In addition, the full utilization of the transport and logistics potential of Georgia is related to the analysis of the following issues in a unified format: raising the coordination between individual agencies of the state government; promoting the development of a competitive environment among transport and logistic business operators; Facilitating the implementation of a common tariff policy on cargo transportation; Changes to be implemented in the legislation regulating tax and free industrial zones of Georgia; activation of economic diplomacy; Improvement of administrative, technological and informational space of transport-logistics infrastructure and services.
