espanolEl presente articulo tiene por objetivo analizar la trayectoria de las organizaciones mas representativas del movimiento sindical chileno opositor durante la dictadura militar. Sostenemos que el sindicalismo fue un actor clave en la recuperacion de la democracia, al tener un rol articulador de la oposicion social, en base a su trayectoria historica y sus vinculos con los partidos democraticos, relacion que, sin embargo, condicionaria su accionar en el futuro proceso de transicion a la democracia. EnglishThis article aims to analyze the trajectory of the most representative organizations of the Chilean opposition movement during the military dictatorship. We argue that trade unionism was a key player in the recovery of democracy, having an articulating role of social opposition, based on its historical trajectory and its links with democratic parties, a relationship that nevertheless would condition its actions in the future Process of transition to democracy.
