Author's summary AC005332.7 overexpression alleviated myocardial injury via suppressing ferroptosis in vitro and in vivo. AC005332.7 could directly bind to miR-331-3p to promote cyclin D2 (CCND2) expression. MiR-331-3p sufficiency or CCND2 knockdown reversed AC005332.7-mediated inhibition of ferroptosis in oxygen and glucose-deprivation-disposed AC16 cells. CCND2 was highly expressed when overexpressed AC005332.7 in acute myocardial infarction.
