MNF are generally isolated ocular findings except, rare coexistence of disk pit.[1,2] Our case represents severe form with associated similar cavitatary disk anomaly. Myelination normally ceases at lamina cribrosa which prevents oligodendrocytes from migrating into retina.[3] We hypothesize that extensive myelination, in this case, could have facilitated by colobomatous optic nerve head and defective lamina cribrosa.
