Dear Editor, We’d like to thank Jain et al. [1] contributions to our manuscript. We included 38 patients with acute central serous chorioretinopathy (CSC) with mean age of 36 years. In CSC patients, monocyte to high‐density lipoprotein (HDL) ratio (MHR) was found to be higher when compared to healthy controls.[2] In the patients, MHR elevation was not assessed regarding coronary artery diseases. However, CSC might be considered as a potential risk factor for coronary artery disease in men. The cumulative incidence of 5‐years coronary heart disease was found to be approximately 2‐folds in CSC patients when compared to those without CSC.[3] In addition, it was reported that CSC is associated with type A personality[4] which could increase risk for cardiovascular disease even in younger ages.[5] Furthermore, Caccavele et al. reported that low‐dose aspirin treatment might lead rapid visual rehabilitation and lower recurrence rate in patients with CSC. Authors suggested it is associated with platelet aggregation in choriocapillaris.[6]
