During the commissioning of the vertical machining lathe centre within the previous overhaul, due to inattention, the rolling bearing of the working table is damaged. With the aim of replacing the damaged part of the rolling bearing the defectation with vibration measurements is performed. The unnaceptable level of vibrations is measured which negatively influenced on the machining quality. Although it was initially suspected that the higher level of vibrations are solely due to mechanical causes frequency content, the more detailed analysis has indicated the appearance of more complex vibrations. i.e. so-called electro – mechanical vibrations.
