Aim: The aim of this study is to assess the knowledge of root canal sealers among 100 dental practitioners, endodontists and pedodontists in a private dental college and hospital. Materials and methods: The questionnaire was distributed to dental practitioners, Endodontists and pedodontists of 3 dental colleges through an online app (survey planet). Results: From the results it was noted that the choice of sealers varied for every case as each sealer possessed different advantages and disadvantages. The statistics seemed to match the earlier literature reports that clearly justifies the reasons for the Endodontists to chose different options. Conclusion: From the results, it is concluded that the most commonly used root canal sealers are zinc oxide eugenol (ZOE) based, resin based, calcium hydroxide (CH) based and MTA based sealers. The choices of the sealers varied between the practising dentists, the endodontists and the pedodontists, and the endodontists had the right knowledge on root canal sealers.
