The study was mainly focussed to measure the insulin resistance by HOMAIR values (homeostasis model assessment method: insulin resistance) and found that in all patients with obese Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) showed increased insulin resistance compared to control subjects with normal body weight and ovulatory menstruation.
