According to the generalized Snell's law, we provide an alternative way of beam splitting of flexural waves based on a proposed coding meta-slab. The coding meta-slab is composed of two logical units "0" and "1" with different thicknesses and with ±π phase shift differences between them. The logical units are designed theoretically. Experiments for beam splitting of flexural waves are performed for the perpendicular and oblique incidence. They verify that the designed coding meta-slab can effectively split incident flexural waves in a broadband frequency range.
