Abstract: An amphoteric metal adsorbent, poly(N-acryloyl-l-histidine)-modified sawdust (SD-g-P(A-His)), is prepared by reversible addition–fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization of N-acryloyl-l-histidine from modified sawdust.
